Rude Boy Records is a German independent record label which was founded in 1994 as its own enterprise by ASR. Within the walls of Rude Boy Records, you can hear anything from Hip Hop to Rock, Jazz to Electronica, R&B to Alternative. We have decided not to allow ourselves to be caged into only one genre of music production. But Rude Boy Records is not only a production by ASR, it's also a music publishing company with distributions by Sony BMG and SPV GmbH.
In the beginning of its company history, the label mainly dropped rap music inspired by Advanced Chemistrys' co-founder Mike MD. Today, Rude Boy Records productions strives to develop and support creative, authentic music and the love of it.

Of course you know him, Konrad Kujau, the creator and forger of the so-called "Hitler Diaries". In 1978, he sold his first "Hitler Diary" to a collector. Two years later, he was contacted by STERN reporter Gerd Heidemann who had heard of the diary. Kujau and Heidemann made a deal for the rest of the diaries. However on their publication in 1983, the diaries were soon proven to be forgeries. Both were arrested and Kujau was sentenced to 4 1/2 years. After three years behind bars, Kujau was released from prison because of his laryngeal cancer disease.
In 1995, the man from that scandal out of the newspapers entered the music scene by recording an album with the music band Rock & Roll Junkies consisting of Gundi Sailer (vocals), Markus Metzger (piano), Marc Deting (guitars), Klaus Marquardt (violine, keyboards, guitar), Bernd Heinig (drums & percussion) and Chris Becker (bass).
